Potato stuffed Green Serrano peppers...!!!



         Chili's are very essential part of our Indian Cuisine, we all love spicy food, and in India we find varieties of chili's , some are spicy and are among the most spiciest chili's of the world like bhoot jolokia which is 400 times more hotter than tabasco sauce. Today I am going to share one of my recipes  made of green Serrano Pepper (moti hari mirch) with you all.

Ingredients-
For stuffing-
6 Green Serrano Peppers(moti hari mirch)
1 tsp of oil
1/4 tsp of cumin seeds
1/4 tsp of Asafetida(heeng)
4 Medium sized Potatoes ( boiled n mashed)
1 tsp of red chili powder
1 tsp of garam masala powder (indian spice mix)
1 tsp of graded ginger
1 tsp of salt or to taste
1/2 tsp of dry mango powder
1 tbsp of green coriander

For the outer layering-
1 cup of all purpose flour
2 tbsp of refind oil
1 tsp of salt

Method-
For stuffing-
Slightly make a slit on all the peppers from one side and keep aside, now take a pan add  1 tsp of oil and cumin seeds and asafetida and add mashed potatoes and all the spices and  mix well to make the stuffing and stuff it inside all the peppers and keep aside.

For the outer layering-
Mix all the above mentioned ingredients together to make a dough and keep it aside for atleast 15 minutes. First make the dough then stuff the peppers. Now after the dough have rested well, make thin sheets of it with help of a rolling pin and cut it into thin stripes , then start rolling it over the pepper by slightly rotating it in circular motions use little water to fix it, now deep fry all the peppers on medium flame and serve hot with tomato ketchup and green chutney or dip.
